Many people consider infrastructure and operations the mundane – but necessary – part of IT. That’s OK - it’s DCi’s passion! It doesn’t have to be yours! We do it so well; some of our processes are patented!
DCi has had a significant relationship with a number of healthcare organizations - providing IT consulting and design, products and services to enterprise and mid-market accounts. DCi has Healthcare IT experience that spans from the mobile/laptop/desktop or another end user device; through the LAN/WAN, to the Data Center – including design, implementation, and support for Healthcare IT infrastructures. Well over half of DCi’s revenues are from Healthcare and Financial Institutions.
DCi’s principal strength is that its management and technical personnel understand the various IT disciplines (e.g. wireless, switching & routing, network security, VoIP, etc.) and how they interface and interoperate within the customer’s IT network. This allows DCi to bring holistic, balanced, value added solution sets to its clientele. This understanding has eliminated many a “project surprise” to DCi’s clients. Offering several product lines allows DCi to be “manufacturer neutral” and to offer optimal solution sets from its ability to select solutions from a myriad of manufacturers’ products. We believe there is no one manufacturer that can provide the ideal solution for all situations. Our philosophy, when considering various client requirements, is to ask ourselves, “What would we propose if WE owned this company?”
THE WHOLE PICTURE
DCi has significant strengths in providing both strategic as well as tactical recommendations. DCi considers risk in its analysis as well as various financial parameters such as Return on Investment, Cash Flow, Net Present Value, and Return on Assets. In short, DCi does not believe that any technical recommendation can be made in a vacuum, but rather must be considered as a part of enabling business strategies to be an optimal solution.
